Outfit repeating – is it allowed? We’re constantly bombarded with influencers constantly promoting different styles. It can be difficult to remember that the majority of people don’t buy different outfits for every day. Carbon footprint and outfit repeating I was very, very into fashion when I was a teenager. Not only was this bad for my bank account, but I’m now aware that my attitude to buying clothes was questionable. I was afraid to engage in outfit repeating. Community as an ideology allows us to feel a part of something and fashion allows us to instead be individual. Whether it’s where we live, supporting a sports team or just having one thing in common. It’s the concept of coming together and having a sense of belonging. As a community, we can come together to care for the world we live in. Climate change is a huge issue as we know. Why Fashion is not Inclusive for People with Disabilities and Why This Needs to Change
Fashion brands are not inclusive of people with disabilities and this needs to change. If clothing is produced at a mass rate for people who do not have disabilities then they should be equally available for people who do without having to settle for less. Adaptive clothing has yet to become mainstream and easily available which is shocking in a society which is supposed to be inclusive. As fashion can be about self-expression it should be without saying that it should cater to those who live with disabilities.
