Susie Lau

Susie Lau, also known as Susie Bubble, is a well-respected figure in the fashion world, “bubbling up since 2006”, according to her blog. She has built an image which has resulted in her being one of the most-loved fashion influencers of today.

With over 400,000 followers on Instagram alongside her 250,000 followers on Twitter, her fans are able to delve deep into her fashion centered mind and admire the outfit masterpieces she comes up with.

Self-made Susie

Susie was titled a “self-made queen of independent UK fashion blogging” in The Independent’s 2012 Twitter 100 List. Her career has exploded since, as now she works on freelance projects with brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada and Topshop as well as writing for fashion magazines such as Vogue and Elle.

She is not one to shy away from global speaking, especially when it is a topic she is passionate about. As we know, sustainability is everything in 2019 and Susie Lau emphasises the importance of assessing the items of clothing you already have in your wardrobe.

When she wants something new, Susie tends to purchase vintage pieces and encourages others to do the same. She suggests that over time we accumulate a lot before coming to realise we don’t need half of the things we own.

As an influencer, Susie believes it is important to use your platform to make positive changes and that you should be aware of the impact of your own voice. She talks about this in The Guardian in an article titled ‘Cheap fashion sales threaten the planet. Could online influencers be our saviours?’ She states it is about being more conscious of the environment and making it known that you can wear the same outfit more than once.
