Causes of climate change that will take you by surprise

There are numerous things that you already know are harmful to our planet, but we can always help but do them. For example, stopping all types of driving to cut down on air pollution is basically impossible at the moment, as people use road transportation everyday to take them to and from the places they need to go. Even though we know some things are bad, they are quite vital to our everyday lives. On the contrast, there are still a number of things that may surprise you how harmful they can be.

One major thing is drinking tea. Something so simple that English people take part it almost everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. Majority of people don't know that tea bags are made of plastic, making them non recyclable. As an alternative, you can start making your tea, using loose tea leaves.

Another common item that affects climate change is wet wipes, their undecaying makeup prove their harmfulness to the environment. Lastly, a very surprising article that is negatively affecting the Earth, is chopsticks. If you go out or even order in, most asian foods come with wood chopsticks. These chopsticks are made up of wood from part of the billions of trees that are being cut down every year. Not to mention a number of people are given them with their food, without in knowing how to use them, and they end up in the garbage untouched. A great way to stop this, is to use reusable chopsticks and treat them like our regular reusable cutlery.

It's never too late to make a change

You might be surprised by the number of things you do that lead to climate change, no need to feel guilty, how were you supposed to know any better? This is why it's so important to educate ourselves on the topics that aren't taught to us in school. The best first step you can take to help the environment, is taking time to educate yourself and the people around you. They are so many aspects of climate change that the majority of the human race are totally unaware of. Something a little as reading this three minute article or even watching a thirty second video, can help to educate you on the dangers of climate change. We live on such a beautiful planet with amazing wildlife and natural beauty always surrounding us, it would be a shame to ruin our own home. So, what will you do next to help keep our Earth green?
